Training
We specialise in web application training
- familiarisation of staff with web site
structure, page
layout, template creation,
content updating, and image optimizations. The
objective is to enable staff to update
their company website with new information
as required without having to get their
web designer to do it. This enables
news items, updated product information,
etc, to be carried out inhouse. Training
can be on a one to one basis or in a
group environment.
We aim to make training understandable
by even beginners to web site creation/
updating and only ask that participants
are comfortable using a computer for normal
office requirements - e.g. word processing,
etc. The
courses last a maximum of two and a half
hours and printed documentation is supplied
for
later
reference. We normally set up test
website space to enable participants to
develop and test their skills without breaking
the main company web site. It is
recommended that the group of two Dreamweaver/
Fireworks
introductory courses are booked spaced
about a week apart as
this
allows
participants to work on the test site and
raise any questions during the second course. A
intermediate Dreamweaver/ Fireworks course
is available for users that already have
basic skills but wish
to develop these. The Photoshop introductory
course is aimed at users wishing to acquire
basic image manipulation skills e.g. preparing
the images from digital cameras for print
or web use.
